“For as the Father hath LIFE in Himself: so hath He given to the Son to have LIFE in Himself: and hath given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of man.” John 5:26, 27.
The Holy Spirit put this scripture on my heart this morning before I listened to your video. All the TRUE Sons and Daughters of God have LIFE in themselves – God’s LIFE – Supernatural LIFE -Resurrection LIFE! John’s Gospel is special because it shows us who Jesus IS! What follows from that is this – In Jesus we see what man ought to BE! – or- Jesus is God’s plan for man. Think about that, when God made man, Jesus is what He had in mind. The word RESTORE in IS. 42:22 means “to return to the starting point” Remember – God has no “Plan B” He only has Plan A, and everything He does is to bring about His Plan A!
But the second part of that verse says that He gave Him (Jesus) authority to execute judgement also – because He was the SON OF MAN. The same is true of us as God’s children. This was and is God’s plan for man (ref. Gen. 1:26), ALL man not just one. The judgement that we are to execute is NOT to be judgemental and critical of people; but to execute judgement upon the powers of darkness that hold people in bondage to sin and deception! TO SET THE CAPTIVES FREE!!! Meditate on these verses, they are powerful indeed. God help us to walk in the light of them as your true Sons and Daughters bringing LIFE and deliverance to the lost, broken, and hurting in the world.
I pray that the power of His LIFE will break forth upon the youth that you will be ministering to this weekend. Here is a thought – preach to the youth about not living their lives in a box (coffin); stop living in the death that holds so many of them bound – get outside of the box and discover what TRUE LIFE is all about! LIFE in Jesus – Live up to your TRUE POTENTIAL! I love you both. It was good to talk to you yesterday. Preach the hell out of them!!!

Jonathan! It is awesome to see what God is doing through you! I have had this exact thing on my heart as well, i was sitting in the chair reading the other night and it was like i had a download from heaven! things like “as He is so are we in the earth”, that not only was Jesus the only begotten Son and sacrifice for our sin, but was “the firstborn among MANY brethren” were flying through my heart and mind. And, that we are to have the same father and son relationship Jesus had with the Father.(John17:20-). Continue to run with it brother! God bless you
